Turn the heartbreak of rejection into a badge of honor with our "Dear Writer" Pin Even though I've earned an M.F.A. in poetry writing, I still have collected enough rejection letters to wallpaper most of my house. That's what gave me the idea for my latest design—collage pins adorned with platitudes taken from actual notes I've received over the years. The witticisms (or cliches, depending on your perspective) are layered on top of a colorized 1950s retro advertising picture and graphic paper background. Pin imagery is taken from the original collage designs. Choose from two pewter charms (a pencil or an opened book) and a variety of saying and image combinations—six in all (click "More" for additional images). Pin measures 1-3/8" by 1-1/4".
