A symbol of longevity in Chinese culture, these cinnabar peaches feature monkeys holding a peach on one side and the character "ru-yi" (which means "may everything go the way you wish") on the other. Strung on a strand of black, mottled green-brown, and amber glass beads with sterling silver accents. Note: True cinnabar has not been used to make jewelry for years, since it is a toxic mercuric sulfide. Today, "cinnabar" beads are made of layers of lacquer, then hand- or machine-carved. Approximate length: 17"–19". Sterling silver spring ring clasp. Hurry—just one left in stock! Price: |
