This intricately-carved cinnabar fan pendant features a bird and flower design, and is strung on a necklace of navy and sterling silver beads, with clear-blue accents. Note: True cinnabar has not been used to make jewelry for years, since it is a toxic mercuric sulfide. Today, "cinnabar" beads are made of layers of lacquer, then hand- or machine-carved.
