We had been looking for a cinnabar dragon pendant, and this one is simply fabulous, strung on a necklace of brown and sterling silver beads, with nutmeg-speckled mustard-colored rounds. Note: True cinnabar has not been used to make jewelry for years, since it is a toxic mercuric sulfide. Today, "cinnabar" beads are made of layers of lacquer, then hand- or machine-carved. Approximate length: 17"–19". Dragon measures 1¾" by 1¼" at its widest points. Sterling silver findings. Five left! Price: |
