Take flight when you wear this red laquer Chinese pendant, intricately carved with a crane (a symbol of peace) spreading its wings. Strung on a dramatic necklace of black and turquoise glass beads and corrugated silver bicones, and set with sterling silver findings. Note: True cinnabar has not been used to make jewelry for years, since it is a toxic mercuric sulfide. Today, "cinnabar" beads are made of layers of lacquer, then hand- or machine-carved. Approximate length: 16"–18". Matching charm detail at toggle or spring ring clasp. Two left! Price: |
